Madonna News:

Madonna has for the moment called off her touring plans. She is too busy with her acting career to take off the time to tour for the "Ray Of Light" album. "Nothing Really Matters" will be released on April 13 in a maxi cd single, a mini cd single, and a 12" single.  Madonna has also just recorded a duet with Latin singer Ricky Martin. The duet will be released on his new album in May. More than likely, the song will be released in English & Spanish versions.

Faithless / Sinead O'Conner News:

Faithless have just finished 2 tracks with Sinead O'Conner for an upcoming e.p. to be released hopefully by August or September. This will be a remix e.p. featuring remixes of tracks from their second album "Sunday 8pm". More than likely the e.p. will be packaged with the album as a 2 cd set on import. No word on a domestic release yet. Meanwhile, Sinead is currently working on her first album with Atlantic Records. Word has it that she's been working with Rollo of Rollo & Sister Bliss, which is how she got involved with the Faithless project.

Deconstruction News:

The UK label known as Deconstruction has recently suffered from some setbacks. First, Kylie Minogue jumped ship. Then it was announced that Deep Dish has now optioned to be released from their contract only 5 months after their debut album was released here in the U.S. Arista Records has a deal to release any UK Deconstruction releases. This now leaves Kylie & Deep Dish without U.S. representation once again. Kylie hasn't had a U.S. label deal since 1994 with Imago. That deal only resulted in the single for "Confide In Me" to be released. Her last U.S. album was released in 1989. Hopefully a U.S. label will pick them up quickly. Deep Dish recently had a big dance hit with "The Future Of The Future(Stay Gold)" featuring Tracy Thorn of Everything But the Girl on vocals. I'll keep you posted.
